Sunshine Disposal & Recycling provides residential, commercial and industrial solid waste collection and recycling services.
While we still pick up customer-owned cans in some areas, we have converted many homes and businesses to cart collection. Cart collection provides uniformity to communities and helps reduce pollution. Carts are not only good for the environment, but are also good for the customer, making garbage duties much easier. The cart has wheels and an attached lid, which eliminates heavy lifting and helps prevent litter.
We operate a transfer station that is open to contractors and commercial haulers. This facility, located in the heart of Spokane Valley, has been open since 1983. In addition to processing solid waste, we sort and bale recyclable materials. Paper, cardboard, aluminum, steel, tin, wire, copper, brass, plastic, building wrap, carpet padding, and wood are sorted and sent to market.
In addition to traditional solid waste and recycling services, the following special services may be available in your area:
