Exceptional, Consistent, Cost-Effective Service
Our experience in the solid waste industry began nearly 100 years ago, collecting garbage from homes and businesses in the south end of Seattle by horse and wagon. We now provide a comprehensive scope of solid waste and recycling collection services to cities and counties throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
In addition to municipal and county contracts, we currently own and operate G-certificates 104, 199 and 260. The G-permit is issued by the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, and provides authority to collect, transport and dispose of solid waste by geographic region. Under the G-Certification we provide service in unincorporated areas of Adams, Lincoln, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman counties.
Sunshine Disposal and Recycling owns and operates a transfer station in Spokane Valley, and offers a wide variety of special services. We also operate multiple solid waste and recycling facilities for Stevens County. For more information about those sites please see the link on our Resources page.
Much of our success is rooted in our ability to evolve with new technology and industry standards. We were one of the first companies in the area to introduce curbside recycling. Our experienced staff is continually developing new systems and programs to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
A lot has changed since our early days, but one thing has remained steadfast. At Sunshine Disposal & Recycling we are committed to providing each customer with exceptional, consistent, cost-effective service.
